Setting up your website, podcast & netcast
First things first, when you work with us online, you will need to install "Zoom or Join.Me" so we can better collaborate. At this time we recommend you install the free ZOOM but Join.Me "Basic Screen Sharing" also works get it at: LINK: JOINME
Step 1: Security
LastPass: https://helpdesk.lastpass.com/ Lesson One Security! Keep your passwords secure with LastPass and save countless hours logging on your secure sites. If you choose to have New Media Gold (NMG) install our training classes for WordPress with our premium themes and plugins, we will first set up a LastPass account. The more you use LastPass the more you will love it's utility! Get a head start on NMG training! Just install the free version (hint do not import your data (old passwords) at this time; instead install login sites one at a time then test the password of that login site). BlueHost is a US web hosting service that we use. By using our affiliate link, you get the lowest price from BlueHost and a free domain. Additionally, for those who use the BlueHost link and are members, we will install two premium WordPress themes..
Step 2: Installing WordPress
We install WordPress with premium themes and plugins but during beta testing you get the service through your beta membership when you subscribe to Bluehost web service through our links.
Step 3: Installing Premium Themes
With WordPress, we install two types of Frameworks: Genesis with Dynamik or Genesis with selected child theme.
Step 4: Install Premium Plugins
Our installations use the following plugins: Gravity Forms, WordPress SEO by Yoast, BlubrryPress Podcasting Plugin, Genesis Simple Edit (as needed) and Sumome.
Step 5: Set Up MailChimp and Link to Form
We will walk you through setting up MailChimp and integrating the APA code with your web site.
Step 6: Design and Develop Content
Now it is your turn to populate your website with rich content. If you are running for office, you will want your platform clearly written out, a form for volunteers to sign up, a way to collect donations online and comment site.

The finished product will come online in late 2015. It will include, four courses (social media, website design, netcasting, and podcasting) as well as a private Facebook membership site and interactive training webinars. All current beta memberships will be converted to a full membership at no additional cost. The courses are designed for small businesses and candidates for office.
